Panadol (Paracetamol) Advance 500mg Tablets 16

Description

Panadol tablets contain the active ingredient paracetamol, a painkiller that is formulated to provide fast and effective relief from pains and aches, such as headaches, toothache, backache, rheumatic and muscle pains and period pain. It also helps to reduce fever and cold and flu symptoms.

How to take Panadol 500mg tablets

Adults (including elderly) and children and aged 16 years and over

Take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as required. Do not take more frequently and no more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Children aged 10 to 15 years

Give 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as required.Do not give more frequently and no more than 4 tablets in 24 hours. Not recommend for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.

Children under 10 years

Not recommended.  

If you take more tablets than recommended seek immediate medical advice even if you feel well. There is a delayed but serious risk of liver damage in case of an overdose.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Paracetamol 500mg 

Other ingredients: Pregelatinised starch, calcium carbonate, alginic acid, crospovidone type A, povidone 25, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, parahydroxybenzoates (sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E215), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217) and sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219)), carnauba wax, opadry white YS-1-7003 (titanium dioxide, hypromellose, macrogol and polysorbate 80).

Warnings

Do not take these tablets alongside any other paracetamol containing product . Do not take more than the recommended dose. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have kidney or liver problems, are underweight, drink alcohol regularly or have a severe infection
