Iron is an essential nutrient that the body needs to make a protein called haemoglobin needed by red blood cells to carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. Nature's Bounty Gentle Iron Complex with Vitamins B12 & C contains iron bisglycinate, a gentler form of iron on the digestive system. Iron can sometimes cause bloating, constipation but the use of iron bisglycinate provides a more tolerated option for those with a sensitive stomach. Vitamin C helps in the absorption of the iron and B12 and folic acid help support energy release and stimulate vitality. 

Iron deficiency is more prevalent in women due to loss of blood in menstruation and pregnancy with an NHS recommend amount of 14.8mg per day in women aged 18-50. For men over 18, the recommended daily intake is around 8.7 mg. An iron deficiency can result in feeling tired and general lack of energy.

How to take Nature's Bounty Gentle Iron Complex Capsules

Adults

Take 1 capsule daily, preferably with a meal

Free from: artificial colours, flavour or sweeteners, preservatives, milk, lactose
