Difflam 0.15% Oral Spray 30ml

Description

Difflam Spray treats local pain and inflammation (swelling) of the mouth and throat. It contains the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) benzydamine hydrochloride and is used to treat many painful conditions such as:

• Mouth Ulcers
• Teething
• A sore throat
• Sore tongue or gums
• Discomfort from teeth or dentures

How to use Difflam spray

Children over 12 year and adults

Four to eight puffs to the affected area every 90 minutes to 3 hours.

Children 6 to 12 years

Four puffs to the affected area every 90 minutes to 3 hours.

Children under 6

One puff per 4 kg of body weight, maximum 4 puffs every 90 minutes to 3 hours.

• Hold the spray in an upright position.
• Lift the spray-tube until it is horizontal.
• Prime the spray before use. Point it away from the face and press down firmly on the green plunger until a fine spray appears.
• Aim spray-tube to the affected area and press down on the green plunger.
• After use, wipe the end of the spray-tube and push it back down.
• Do not put anything into the spray-tube.

If you take too much or accidently swallow a large amount contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Possible side effects 

Common side effects you may experience include:

• Burning or stinging sensation
• Dry mouth or thirst
• Tingling sensation
• Warm sensation in mouth
• Taste disturbance

Other ingredients: glycerol, saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, erhanol, methylhydroxybenzoate, Mouthwash Flavour, polysorbate 20 and Purified Water

Warnings

Do not use more than the recommended dose / Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have asthma, you are pregnant or breastfeeding / Discontinue if you experience numbness and/or stinging in the mouth and/or throat and contact your doctor
