Description

Benylin Mucus Cough MAX menthol is used for treating mucus coughs and build up of phlegm. The cooling taste of menthol leaves you feeling refreshed and helps to suppress your cough.

The active ingredient in this medicine is Guaifenesin, which is an expectorant and breaks down the mucus in your chest and throat, making it easier to cough up, and eases your breathing. 

How to take this medicine

Take TWO 5mL spoonfuls (10mL), every 4-6 hours, maximum of 4 times daily.

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. 

This medicine is not intended for use in children under 12.

200mg Guaifenesin.

Other ingredients: Xanthan gum, sodium chloride, saccharin sodium, ammonium glycyrrhizate, citric acid, sodium citrate, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate 40, levomenthol, raspberry flavour (includes ethanol), glycerol, macrogol 1500, propylene glycol (E1520), ethanol, purified water, sodium benzoate (E211), Ponceau 4R (E124), caramel (E150)

Do not take this medicine:

- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

- If you are under 12 years of age.

- If you have a medical condition affecting your eyes, lungs, heart, liver or kidneys.

- If you are undergoing urine tests.

If you are affected by drowsiness whilst taking this medicine, do not attempt to drive or operate heavy machinery.
