Difflam Spray - £6.46

Difflam Spray treats local pain and inflammation (swelling) of the mouth and throat, containing the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) benzydamine hydrochloride. It is suitable for all ages and can provide relief from not just sore throats but also mouth ulcers, teething, sore gums and teeth.

You should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using Difflam Spray if you have asthma, are pregnant or currently breastfeed.

Ultra Chloraseptic - £5.21

Ultra Chloraseptic contains the local anaesthetic benzocaine that works quickly to numb the pain of a sore throat. The product is fast acting and is designed to get the medication directly to the back of the throat in an easy to use spray, treating the pain at its source.  

 

 

It is available in both menthol and blackcurrant flavour but is not suitable for children under the age of 6 years old and shouldn’t be used in any children who are not able to hold their breath whilst spraying. There is also a small quantity (less than 0.006 units per spray) of alcohol (propylene glycol) in the product to dissolve the other ingredients, this may cause skin irritation. Speak to your doctor before using Ultra Chloraseptic if you have difficulty breathing, noisy breathing or severe difficulty in swallowing or are pregnant or breastfeeding

Strepsils Honey and Lemon - £4.99

Strepsils lozenges provide symptomatic relief of mouth and throat infections. It contains hexylresorcinol which acts as a mild antiseptic killing bacteria associated with the infection, while lubricating the affected area, soothing the soreness and discomfort.

The are not suitable for children under the age of 6 years old. Speak to your doctor if you suffer from other throat conditions, pregnant or breast feeding
